Welcome to 6HP!
Welcome to our class page! We have worked hard designing the content of our page. We hope to update it weekly and make it as interesting as possible.
Week 6's Headteacher and Children's Choice awards go to...
Darrell: For a fantastic, well written Biography of Roald Dahl.
Maisha: For making Mrs P smile by always setting the standard for routines and learning behaviour.
Our Children's Choice:
Alexia: For working hard and being a good friend.
We enjoyed congratulating them in assembly on Tuesday 10th October.
Homework is set on Friday and due back on a Thursday.
Below is homework set on: 13.10.17 and due back by 19.10.17.
Year 6 can attend a Homework club on a Tuesday lunchtime in 6DF - so please see a member of the Year 6 staff if you want to attend.
This week in class....
We have built a "den" or "shelter" in our book corner. We have discussed the similarities and differences between it and an Anderson Shelter. Hopefully, by the end of next week, everyone will have enjoyed at least 10 minutes in it reading and relaxing.
Safeguarding Day 3.10.17
We had a great day today working with professionals and agencies from Sandwell who taught us about a range of safeguarding issues. We learnt more about how DECCA, Rewind, the Anti-Social Behaviour Team and the Police can help us. More details (written by the class!) to follow soon. Here are some fun photos from our day as a starting point though.
