Homeworking packs will be available up until next Wednesday. I have put a folder together of bits and pieces if you would like to dip in and complete some homework over the summer to help you to get ready for Year 4.

9.30- 10.30 Maths Adding and Subtracting Mass
Again there are lots of resources for this topic so I have split them into two mini lessons to help you to consolidate your learning. You may want to do one lesson in the morning and one in the afternoon or have a short break in between. You can use the answer sheet to mark your work. Lesson 2 https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/add-and-subtract-mass In this lesson, we will begin to add and subtract mass, including regrouping the values. We will use the partitioning strategy as a process to add or subtract the mixed-units (kg and g).

RE- https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/what-is-the-holy-book-of-islam Today we are going to be continuing with our new topic of learning, we are going to find out today about the beliefs of the Islamic faith. In this lesson, we will be learning about the Qur'an, the Muslim Holy Book which was revealed to Muhammad by the Angel Gabriel over a period of 23 years.
A huge thank you Jaskeerat for the lovely letter that arrived through the post this morning you have made my day! It was lovely to hear from you and find out about your time in lock down. A big well done to Sara, Nicole and Nathaniel who are whizzing their way through their TT Rock Stars challenges this week!
Who else can improve their rock star status and achieve a certificate before the end of term? I will be post all certificates off next week before the holidays.
Another huge well done to Willow today for her super home learning on time! What a good use of practical resources at home to help you. With skills like this Willow will never have any problems with troublesome time! Great job! Mr Rowe is also very impressed with the home learning that he has seen from 3HS on our class page, keep sending your pictures in we love to see them. Remember time is an important life skill, if you can master it now it will make your learning so much easier in the future.
Super star of the week shout out! A huge well done and thank you to Willow for her photographs of her lock down learning and adventures! Miss Swatman and the other staff at Tipton Green love seeing what you have been up to and love keeping in touch with you all. We absolutely love the extreme reading photos. I know reading is one of Willow's favourite hobbies! It certainly looks like you have been learning lots, gaining so many new skills and having lots of family fun which is great to see! I love the outdoor expedition pictures! The den looks amazing! We are so proud of how you have used your time productively! I can see that you have learnt so much and gained such a range of new life skills! Super!
Happy belated birthday to Willow, Michael and all of you who have had once in a lifetime lock down birthdays, they are sure to be talked about for many birthdays to come!

Super star of the week! A huge well done to Michael who popped into school to visit Miss Swatman this week to bring his home learning in. Michael has worked incredibly hard to complete his home learning every day during lock down! We are so so proud of all of Michael's hard work and effort, he has learnt SO much during his time at home. Not only has he being working hard to complete the home learning pack he has also enjoyed daily family walks, plenty of reading, garden fun, growing plants to help with his Science work and baking! Wow! Here are some examples of Michael's super pieces of work. If anybody else would like to send me any work I would love to see it!

A big thank you to you all for the emails I have received from parents with questions regarding home learning and TT Rock Stars, it is lovely to stay in touch with you, please feel free to email any questions that you have. If you are having difficulty accessing any home work, home learning packs can be collected from the school office with the work ready printed.

Dear Parents and children, I have had a wonderful day today catching up with many of you on the phone , thank you all you have really brightened my day! It has been lovely to hear about the wonderful things you have been doing with your families and all the hard work you have been putting into your learning. I am so so proud of you! Keep it up! I am so pleased to hear that you are all staying safe and well and I cannot wait for us all to be back together. If I didn't manage to get hold of you today there might be an answer phone message waiting for you.
If any of you are having trouble accessing the homework at any point please use my email to contact me and I will forward it to you or if you would like to share any of your work or pictures of the fun you have been having during lock down (email to firstname.lastname@example.org ) it would be lovely to put some examples on our class page to inspire each other when we are finding home learning a challenge. Miss Samrai's class have been doing this.
