Instructions Monday 13th July
9.00 – Times table rock stars, last week to earn your certificates.
9.30- 10.30 Maths
For Maths today I have added in a variety of question sheets about telling the time. The answers are attached at the bottom of the resource. Assess your learning so far. If you still feel unsure go back and re watch the oak academy videos to help you to become more confident.
Remember it does not matter if you have to spend a little more time on this we would rather you give yourself a little extra practise time so that you are confident with telling the time.
Reading Comprehension Papers.
Over the past few weeks you have worked hard to use the Oak Academy comprehension lessons, comprehension packs and 60 second reading challenges to develop, your word meaning, retrieval, inference, summary and prediction skills. I have also included lots of different comprehension worksheets for you to have a go at to help you to apply these skills with test style questions. Over the next few weeks I will add in some longer test style papers for you to have a go at which will help you in test situations. It will also give your grown ups an idea of how you would do in a reading test and what you need to work on.
In this pack there is a reading booklet that you must read, and answer booklet which gives you the questions (you can print these off or use paper or busy books to write the answers in and read the questions off the screen) and there is an answer booklet for your parents so they can see how well you have done. Good luck!
Remember to read a little every day to help your reading fluency and comprehension skills and to help you to develop a love of reading and a range of authors. The more you read the more you will learn and the higher the scores will get.
RE – Islam
Today we are going to be continuing with our new topic of learning, we are going to find out today about the beliefs of the Islamic faith.
In this lesson, we will be learning about some of the key aspects of the Muslim faith, exploring their six main beliefs, as well as taking a glance at the Five Pillars of Islam.
Watch the video and follow the instructions.

Super star of the week! A huge well done to Michael who popped into school to visit Miss Swatman this week to bring his home learning in. Michael has worked incredibly hard to complete his home learning every day during lock down! We are so so proud of all of Michael's hard work and effort, he has learnt SO much during his time at home. Not only has he being working hard to complete the home learning pack he has also enjoyed daily family walks, plenty of reading, garden fun, growing plants to help with his Science work and baking! Wow! Here are some examples of Michael's super pieces of work. If anybody else would like to send me any work I would love to see it!
Well Done Michael! :)
