Welcome to 4RG!
At Home Learning
I hope you've all had a lovely Easter and have rested. I have put up some new Literacy work for you for the next 2 weeks (w/c 20.04 and w/c 27.04), along with our new Science topic!
From w/c 20/04, use the White Rose Maths link to follow their scheme of lessons. It has PowerPoints and videos as well as worksheets for you to do too!
Remember, you can also read the Ebooks that are in the home learning folder too.
I hope you are all still keeping safe. We are missing you lots and hope to be back together soon.
Your class teacher is Miss Gregory, who has the pleasure of working with Mrs Jackson! You will often hear laughing coming from our classroom as we like to have lots of fun! On this page, you will find out all of the information you need to know, as well as keeping up with all of the things we get up to!
Things you might need to know:
Handed out on a Friday (learning log linked to Geography or History)
To be handed in throughout the half term - In 4RG, we like to earn lots of house points, so we like to make sure our homework is handed in on time. Don't forget you can earn tokens too!
Indoor PE (Dance or Gymnastics) is on Wednesday afternoons
Outdoor PE (Games) is on Thursday afternoons - please make sure to bring layers or a tracksuit for Winter as we still like to go outside! You will need to make sure you have a yellow top or polo shirt and black or burgundy shorts. You will also need to make sure you have suitable footwear.
|Spellings||Are handed out on a Friday with the spelling test the following Thursday.|
Miss Gregory will check your reading record and give you up to 10 house points twice a week! To get 10 house points, you need to make sure you bring your book band book in with your signed reading record. You can also work your way to the Easter Reading Challenge - a treasure hunt!
You need to be reading 5 times a week up until the end of March to be able to go!
Jeff and Jeff Junior
Jeff and Jeff Junior ready for another adventure in their suitcase!
Jeff and baby Jeff are also members of 4RG. They love to watch you do your work and they always look out for who tries their best. They also like to see everyone being friends, being kind and having fun. At the end of the week, Miss Gregory chooses someone to take Jeff and baby Jeff home for the whole weekend! You can write in his diary and let the rest of the class know what adventure you've been on. Be careful, they're very mischievous!
Jeff loves to travel, so far he's been to New York, LA and London! He also enjoys trips to the park and playing football in the garden.
Here's Jeff on his way to New York!
Our Reading Corner
Reading is very important to us in 4RG. We get our reading records checked twice a week by Miss Gregory, who gives us up to 20 house points. To get these house points, we need to remember our book band book and we have to have a signed reading record from home.
Come and check out our cosy underwater reading corner!
Exciting things coming up in Year 4:
