We hope you are all keeping well !
As your homeworking begins – don’t forget that as well as your CGP Study Books there are plenty of resources for you to continue your studies on in the Homeworking section of our website
We are also going to post a few daily resources that you might find interesting and fun to work on. You'll see these on the Class Pages as well as find them in the homeworking packs too. These will help you choose areas that you can then go on to study on from your CGP books – or can inspire a project or art work task for you for the day. We hope you enjoy them!
Daily resources will be posted for 9.00am every weekday. Please spread the word with the rest of the class !
Friday 27th March
Work your way through today's tasks.
If you find any areas in the "Flashback Problems of the Day" challenging, use the materials in the Homeworking Packs or your CGP Study Guide and task book to complete the related exercises.

Study the picture and answer the questions first.
Complete the sentence challenges to help you practise using parenthesis.
It’s up to you if you want to complete a writing task today – it IS a fun one! You could choose instead though to make a superhero bookmark (see below) and enjoy reading from your current reading book.
Make a superhero bookmark – and use it as you read your book daily! J
Our Pride of Aslans
RE Day Aslan Art
RE day this term was roar-some! We studied people and characters who were willing to fight and die for their causes. We learnt about Malala Yousafzai, Andree Peel, Sophie and Hans Scholl and the character Aslan to name but a few. Check out our art work in progress. We used chalk pastels to create images and are trying hard to show Aslan's emotion and personality. We'll post our finished pieces in a week or so but here's a sneaky peek so far.
Trip to Safeside
We had a great day out recently at Safeside. We learnt all about different ways to keep safe and make sensible choices while out and about and while at home. For example, did you know firefighters suggest we all have a "Check it Tuesday"? They suggest you check the batteries in your smoke alarms every week. :-)
RE Day Pop Art Words
We had a really enjoyable RE day this term learning about stories in Holy Books and what impact they can have on people. We focused on the plagues stories in the Bible and ended the day by creating Pop Art style illustrated words. All of the words we illustrated were words that linked to the themes or qualities shown in the stories. We hope you like them!
We had a great time recently building our own lego robots and programming them to move using coding. Here are a few of our robots!
