Dear Parents,
I hope that you have all had a restful and enjoyable half term. I would just like to reassure you that despite the national lockdown announced for this Thursday, we a looking forward to welcoming the children back tomorrow morning as normal. We have many measures in place to ensure that your children are safe in school (see Covid 19 Risk Assessment on our website) and as a result, were fortunate that we only had one positive case in school over the last half term.
Following the Government announcement, we have reviewed our school risk assessment and have made the decision that from Thursday we will ask all parents to wear a face covering whilst on the school premises. Staff will also be asked to wear face covering when dismissing children. I would also like to remind you that only one person from each family should be present on the playground to collect children at the end of the school day.
In order to avoid unnecessary congestion please could you bring and collect your child just before their start and finish times. These are as follows:
Morning
Gates open - 8:35
Start for years 3 and 4 - 8:40
Start for years 5 and 6 - 8:50
Afternoon
Gates open - 3:00
Finish for years 3 and 4 - 3:10
Finish for years 5 and 6 - 3:20
I look forward to seeing you in the morning.
Yours sincerely,
D. Rowe
