Just giving an update on Purple Mash.
Thanks to those have been accessing it. Even though it is still new, we still have had a large amount of children who have been on it. However, the site is still new and we are experiencing a few hiccups at the moment, which i'll outline below and a solution for.
Can I remind parents that this is an extra activity for children to do at home - to perhaps break up the afternoon after they have been working hard on their Home Learning set by their teachers. As you know, the Home Learning is the priority at the moment and staff are still getting to grips with the site and want to ensure they set quality tasks for you guys to do as extra work.
Please continue to use the below link for your child's Home Learning and use Purple Mash as an extra lesson in the afternoon. More tasks will be set soon!
Have fun guys and hope to see you soon :)
"I have tried my daughters username and password, but it won't log in."
-> Try putting a 2 at the end of their log in, there may be two of the same names. e.g. joeb2
-> Try to remember the name we have on our register. e.g. You call them Poppy, but they may be Poppy-Rose on our register.
"I have tried the username and password. I've added the 2 at the end of the username and son doesn't have a double barrelled name. What now?"
-> Make sure you have found Purple Mash through our website. If you use Google, it will take you to one that isn't linked with our school. We have our own special page.
Click on the link below to get there. It is in the 'Children' section of the website.
"I have logged on okay. Where are the tasks?"
-> There are tasks for your child to do whenever. Set tasks by teacher will pop up on the notification icon - the bell. Your child will notice it when it changes. Trust me!
"I'm on, I've got a task, but there is a problem. What do I do?"
-> There may be an update that you need on your laptop. Like Adobe. If you ever have any problems, phone the school and we will help. Alternatively, post on the Facebook page.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
