Dear Parents,
In the event of your child needing to study at home as a result of Isolation due to Covid 19, please find guidance below for how to access our home learning.
Home Learning Activities
We will be providing home learning via Microsoft Teams. This will involve direct teaching. The timetable for each day will be as follows:
9:10 Log on to meeting
9:15 Maths
10:15 Break
10:30 Reading
11:00 Literacy
12:00 Lunch
1:00 Afternoon lesson (Mon – Thurs)
To access the session please click on to the correct link below for your child’s class.
Resources for the sessions are available on the school website – please follow instructions below:
On the school website TGJS.org, click on the 'Children' tab, select 'Homeworking Packs', scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Home Working Packs'. The password is 'homeworking'. Choose the year group that your child is in and you will find resources for them to complete.
Children will need paper, or an exercise book to work in. Exercise books are available to collect from school if you need one. Please go to the bike shed by the main gate and help yourself.
We have some school laptops that we are able to lend to children to ensure that they are able to access home learning resources. If you need to borrow one for this period please contact the school office to make arrangements. If you have no access to the internet at home please contact the school and we will try and make alternative arrangements.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the school.
Yours sincerely
D. Rowe
