Dear parents,
As we come to the end of term I would like to take this opportunity to share the end of term dates and arrangements with you.
The last day for year 6 pupils to attend school will Monday 19th July. This will enable us to prepare the school for September and complete some transition work with the new pupils joining us.
Leavers’ Assemblies – Friday 16th July am
Although we would much prefer to hold our Leavers’ assemblies in school, unfortunately we will still not be able to mix parents and children together in the same venue. As an alternative, we will be holding virtual Leavers’ Assemblies for each class using Microsoft Teams. They will be held on Friday 16th July at the following times:
6HS - 9:15
6KS - 10:00
6HP - 11:00
To participate, your child will need to be at home with yourselves. Please click on the link below each class to join via Microsoft Teams.
Although we would have much preferred to hold face to face assemblies our priority must be to follow the public health advice and keep everyone safe.
Year 6 Prom – Friday 16th July
I am pleased to say that we are still expecting to hold our Y6 prom this year. These will, however, be held in individual class groups and will start and finish at different times. Children will all have the opportunity to have photographs, eat together and enjoy a disco in the hall. Times will be as follows:
6HS - 1:20pm - 2:40pm
6KS - 2:00pm - 3:20pm
6HP - 2:40pm - 4:00pm
Please drop your child by the Silvertrees gate at the start of the session and collect them from the community room at the front of the school at the end of the session.
Please don’t hesitate to call the school office, or catch me at the start or end of the day if you require any further information.
Yours sincerely,
D. Rowe
Please note that these arrangements may be subject to change depending upon guidance from Sandwell Public Health.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
