Year 4 Egyptians

Year 4 have been busy creating Egyptian masks out of clay as part of their history and art project. They carefully shaped their masks, using multiple tools to add intricate details and bring their designs to life. From carving patterns to sculpting facial features, the children showed great creativity and patience. They then painted  their masks, adding vibrant colours and finishing touches to complete their masterpieces!

Exploring fabric dying techniques.

Year 5 Banksy

Year 5 have been enjoying their Art unit this half term, learning about graffiti art, with our artist focus being Banksy. The children have used different techniques to recreate a well-known piece by Banksy, "Girl with Balloon". They used block printing with ink to recreate the brick wall effect, then made a stencil of the girl, painting over this to recreate the girl and the heart.

We are so impressed with the artwork they have created!
