Gymnastics Club

Our Gymnastics Club provides children with an exciting opportunity to build strength, flexibility and confidence in a supportive environment. Each session includes a warm-up, skill-building activities, and time to practise key gymnastic movements such as balances, rolls, jumps and basic routines. Children develop coordination, body control and resilience as they learn new skills and challenge themselves safely.

The club focuses on teamwork and encouragement, celebrating every achievement—big or small. Qualified coaches guide the children through age-appropriate skills, helping them improve at their own pace while having fun. Whether they are beginners or have previous experience, all children are welcome to take part, stay active, and enjoy being part of a positive and energetic club.

Multi-sports

Our Chatterbooks Club believes that reading should be an exciting adventure and today we dived into the world of audiobooks. We enjoyed listening to the audiobook of Michael Morpurgo's 'Butterfly Lion, which transported us to far-off lands and ignited our imaginations. The excitement didn't stop there, whilst listening to the story we channelled our own creativity into designing and making book covers and bookmarks.
We then ended the session with a short extract from Aminah's favourite book -Matilda, which she read beautifully.
We can't wait to meet again next week.

Art Club
During Art Club, the children began the exciting process of supporting the Drama Club’s upcoming performance of Romeo and Juliet by sketching ideas for the props and backdrop. They explored key scenes from the play and discussed how to reflect the atmosphere and setting in their designs. The children also focused on important props, including poison bottles, and brainstormed creative ways to make them. Each child contributed their own ideas through detailed sketches, which will now guide the next stage- bringing these designs to life for the production.

The children completed drawing and painting their props for the Romeo and Juliet play. They showed great creativity and teamwork throughout the process, working together to get it done. Next, they will be designing a poster to promote the performance

Skipping Club
Children have enjoyed practising their skipping technique in the first few weeks of club. Every one of us is now able to skip! Most of us backwards, too! We have been attempting cross skips, double skips and paired skipping. The children have also really enjoyed learning the ‘Teddy bear, Teddy bear’ skipping song. Adam and Anushka are currently our champs for skipping the entire song!
