Little Chefs Cook Up a Healthy Spaghetti Bolognese

Cooking Club made a healthy spaghetti bolognese this week. The children peeled mushrooms and finely chopped them, along with peppers, before adding them to chopped tomatoes. They learnt how to hold vegetables correctly and how to cut them safely. Quorn mince was added to the sauce, and the spaghetti was carefully boiled. The children really enjoyed the session, with one saying, “I thought it was a great session because I’ve never made one before,” and another commenting, “I would like to make this with my parents at home.” One enthusiastic chef added, “I can’t wait to eat this!”
