Year 3 Year 4 Children in Year 5 created paper chains with how to be kind on them and they also created a Grinch bauble as a keepsake. They were successful in their attempts to warm up the heart of the Grinch as he bought their presents in the afternoon. Year 6 Children in Year 6 created some Grinch digital art and made a Grinch keepsake!

In School Council's Autumn school survey on technology, pupils expressed an interest in using computers to create art. For our Science topic ‘Magnets and Forces’, Year 3 have been learning about friction and how it affects moving objects. We set up an investigation to find out how an object moves on different surfaces. We found out that smoother surfaces create less friction, allowing an object to travel further. This week, our children took part in a special assembly led by the NSPCC  about the importance of staying safe and speaking out. During the session, the children were introduced to Buddy , the NSPCC’s friendly green mascot. Year 3 went back in time on Tuesday 21st October to the Stone Age! On our trip to Tanglewood, Year 3 got to experience life as a real Stone Age hunter-gatherer. We first got to see how a real Stone Age person would have dressed and what they would have looked like. Then,  we got to create our own tribes and had to survive a day in the life!
