A Tasty Start to Cooking Club!

This week, Cooking Club got off to an exciting start! We discovered that apples are growing in our secret garden, so we headed outside to pick some fresh ones. After washing them, we carefully cut the apples into small chunks, learning how to use knives safely and correctly.
Next, we boiled the apple pieces to make them soft and delicious. Some of us worked on making a crumble topping using flour, sugar, and butter—mixing everything together with our hands until it was just right.
We can’t wait to try our homemade apple crumble—it smells amazing already!
