3D Art Illusion Club

Year 5 Digital Art
Children participated in a fun Digital Art workshop using IPads today which was kindly led by Mr Ashton from Engagedu. We have some fantastic artists in Year 5! Charcoal Cakes in Year 5!
Year 5 have begun their exciting new art topic: Cakes! This week, the children used charcoal pencils to produce observational drawings of a variety of cakes, carefully experimenting with texture, line and tone to bring their sketches to life.

Year 5 Tropical Masterpieces!
Year 5 have enjoyed developing their silk painting skills through the study of Daniel Jean-Baptiste. Using his vibrant tropical artwork as inspiration, they created their own striking animal scenes filled with colour and creativity.

Year 3 Inspired by Andy Goldsworthy
Year 3 explored the beautiful natural artwork created by Andy Goldsworthy. We began by carefully planning our collage designs, thinking about the shapes, colours and patterns we wanted to include. After sharing our ideas, we collected a range of natural materials and used them to create our own artwork inspired by his famous style. Hole Lot of Creativity!

Year 5 Art
Children in Year 5 were asked to recreate the texture and impression of a wall on a polystyrene tile, which they then printed into their books. This activity links with the next lesson, where they will build on their work by adding a further piece of artwork inspired by the style of Banksy. The children used printing ink to create their prints, experimenting carefully with texture and pattern.

Year 4’s New Art Topic
Year 4 have begun an exciting new art topic based on tie-dye and quilt making. We started by learning about the colour wheel, exploring primary, secondary and tertiary colours and how they are created. A Celebration of Creativity!
As you walk into Tipton Green, you can see the school’s wonderful art gallery on display, showcasing amazing pieces from all year groups. The collection includes vibrant poppy artwork, creative pieces inspired by Black History Month, and striking self-portraits created in the styles of two different artists. The gallery was on display yesterday during Parents’ Evening and will be available to view again this afternoon for the second Parents’ Evening.
