History Comes Alive: Year 4 Roman Day!
Year 4 enjoyed an exciting and immersive Roman Day, where they stepped back in time to experience life in Roman Britain. Throughout the day, the children took part in a range of engaging activities that brought their history learning to life and helped deepen their understanding of the Roman Empire. Year 4 had the exciting opportunity to visit the Sandwell Library Bus, where they were able to explore a wide range of books and choose one to enjoy. Year 4 Fire Safety Visit
Year 4 children took part in an exciting SPARKS visit delivered by firefighters from the local fire station. The presentation focused on important fire and road safety messages in a fun and engaging way. Tipton Green Triumphs at Holly Lodge Cricket Tournament
A very excited group of Year 3 and 4 headed to Holly Lodge High to represent Tipton Green. Year 4 Sewing Skills in DT
In DT this week, Year 4 developed their sewing skills as part of their textiles project. They learned how to thread a needle, tie a knot, and sew a simple design onto the front of their cushion. Pupils were reminded to work carefully, safely, and take their time to produce neat stitching. In the following lesson, pupils will sew the sides of their cushion together using a running stitch. Year 4 Easter Craft
Year 4 enjoyed getting creative as they made their own beautiful Easter cards. World Book Day 2026

Our reading ambassadors led an assembly at Silvertrees Infant School. Healthy Eating Workshop
Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic healthy eating workshop with the school nurses this week. 🥗 The children learnt about the Eatwell Plate and how it helps us to understand the different food groups our bodies need to stay healthy.
