School Nurses Promote Sun Safety
Today, two school nurses set up an informative and interactive sun safety stand in the school playground to provide help, advice, and support to children and parents about staying safe in the sun. Year 4 Fire Safety Visit
Year 4 children took part in an exciting SPARKS visit delivered by firefighters from the local fire station. The presentation focused on important fire and road safety messages in a fun and engaging way. Gardening Club Gets Off to a Great Start in the Sunshine
During our first Gardening Club session, we focused on clearing and preparing the space ready for planting. Mini Marathon in Year 6

Red Nose Day 2026
Red Nose Day was a fun and meaningful event in our school. The children came to school wearing an item of red to show their support. There was a great sense of excitement and community throughout the day. Everyone made a fantastic effort, and it was lovely to see so many creative red outfits. Manny Singh Kang Inspires our Children!
Manny Singh Kang visited Tipton Green today to lead a special assembly for pupils, sharing his inspiring fundraising journey and encouraging children to believe they can make a difference in their community. Cooking Club: Super Easy Hummus
This week in Cooking Club, they made their own super easy hummus by following the recipe step by step. They gathered all the ingredients and used the food processor to blend the chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, salt and sesame oil. They carefully added some of the chickpea liquid to make the hummus smooth and creamy. They then cut up fresh peppers, cucumber, carrots and pitta bread to taste with their hummus. Healthy Eating Workshop
Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic healthy eating workshop with the school nurses this week. 🥗 The children learnt about the Eatwell Plate and how it helps us to understand the different food groups our bodies need to stay healthy. Teamwork in our Secret Garden!
Children have been having a wonderful time improving our Secret Garden. They have worked incredibly hard to help tidy and care for the space, showing great enthusiasm and responsibility. A Scientific Look at Toothpaste in Year 4!
This week, Year 4 became dental detectives! Our science investigation focused on how brushing helps reduce tooth decay and whether different toothpastes have different properties. Safer Internet Day
Today, School council kicked off our Safer Internet Day 2026 with an assembly. They talked about this year's theme - the safe use of artificial intelligence.
