ECO Ambassadors Launch Battery Recycling Bin!

In the ECO Ambassadors’ first meeting of the academic year, they discussed new ways we can recycle more and reduce waste in school. One idea the children were particularly enthusiastic about was introducing a battery recycling bin — and they went ahead and ordered one themselves!

Now, any used batteries we have in school will be placed in the battery bin provided. Batteries should not go into general waste, as they are a fire hazard in bin lorries and at landfill sites.
