We were delighted to welcome our dads and special male role models to our Father's Day celebration today. It was wonderful to see so many families spending quality time together and making special memories. Year 6 are so excited to host their Summe Fete on Friday 26th June. They are busy designing posters, making goodies to sell and promoting their stalls around school- it promises to be an exciting and enjoyable day for the whole school! Children enjoyed a very important water safety assembly delivered by a lifeguard from our local swimming pool. The assembly taught children how to stay safe in and around water, particularly during the warmer months when more people visit rivers, lakes, canals, and other open water areas. The lifeguard explained the dangers of swimming in open water and shared practical advice on what to do in an emergency. Children learned about the importance of only swimming in supervised

Despite the rainy weather, we had a lovely turnout for our Coffee Morning at Tipton Green. Parents enjoyed a selection of delicious cakes while having the opportunity to chat, connect with others, and spend time together in a welcoming environment. We were also pleased to welcome members of the Eat Well Team and the Family Support Hub, who spoke with parents and shared valuable information, advice, and support available to families. Today, two school nurses set up an informative and interactive sun safety stand in the school playground to provide help, advice, and support to children and parents about staying safe in the sun. The colourful display attracted lots of interest and helped raise awareness about the importance of protecting skin during the warmer months. The Tipton Green Junior School Local History Fayre is a community event celebrating 50 years of memories connected to Tipton Green Junior School from 1976–2026. Organised by the Tipton Town Libraries Local History Group, the event invites former pupils, families, friends, and sports team members to share photographs, memories, and stories from their time at the school. Visitors are encouraged to bring along old pictures and reminisce about classroom moments, sporting achievem

The competition is open to current and former pupils of the school. Entrants must write a poem about school or schooldays. Poems can be in any style, including dialect, and must be no more than 20 lines long. There is a £50 first prize, and some poems will be published in a book later in the year. The closing date for entries is 30 June 2026. Entry forms are available from our school, Tipton Library or by emailing robert26hazel@gmail.com
