Year 6 Remember
On the 11 th November Year 6 were joined by their parents, carers and family members as they went to the Cenotaph in Victoria Park to pay their respects to those who have fought and are still fighting in wars. The children led a short service and the laid a wreath. The children were very respectful as they observed a two minute silence. It was a moving and meaningful experience for everyone involved, reminding us of the importance of remembrance and gratitude.

Remembrance Day
Today, the children at Tipton Green Junior School came together to mark Remembrance Day with respect and thoughtfulness. In preparation for the occasion, pupils created their own poppies and planted them outside to form a striking giant display. A Celebration of Creativity!
As you walk into Tipton Green, you can see the school’s wonderful art gallery on display, showcasing amazing pieces from all year groups. The collection includes vibrant poppy artwork, creative pieces inspired by Black History Month, and striking self-portraits created in the styles of two different artists. The gallery was on display yesterday during Parents’ Evening and will be available to view again this afternoon for the second Parents’ Evening.
