Gardening Club Gets Off to a Great Start in the Sunshine
During our first Gardening Club session, we focused on clearing and preparing the space ready for planting. Rock Steady Concert!
The Rock Steady concert at Tipton Green was a lively and enjoyable event, celebrating the musical achievements of the pupils. Year 5 Visit Carding Mill Valley
As part of their Raging Rivers Geography topic, Year 5 visited Carding Mill Valley to explore river features in a real-life setting. The children took part in a guided walk, a river study and river dipping, supported by National Trust volunteers. Year 5 Visit Carding Mill Valley
Year 5 visited Carding Mill Valley as part of their geography topic, Raging Rivers . The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for the children to bring their classroom learning to life in a real-world setting. Teamwork in our Secret Garden!
Children have been having a wonderful time improving our Secret Garden. They have worked incredibly hard to help tidy and care for the space, showing great enthusiasm and responsibility. Year 6 Virtual Reality
Year 6 pupils stepped into the world of virtual reality in this exciting computing workshop focused on expressive writing. Growing Confidence in Our Young Violinists
Some of our Upper Key Stage 2 children have been developing their violin skills and showing fantastic progress. They are becoming much more confident in holding the instrument correctly, remembering their rest position and playing (mount) position independently. Our Young Violinists in Action
Some of our children have been learning to play the violin and have been fascinated by the new skills they are developing. They learned how to hold the violin correctly in rest position and mount position, and practised a piece called “Pepperoni Pizza,” which uses notes that go up in pitch. They worked hard to play in time and together, listening carefully to one another and showing excellent focus and teamwork.

A Thoughtful Visit to Year 4
Year 4 Our lovely visitor from this morning’s assembly stayed on to spend time with Year 4, where the children took part in a thoughtful and engaging question-and-answer session. They asked insightful questions about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), learning about the influence he has and why he is so important to Muslims. The children listened carefully and showed great curiosity and respect as they deepened their understanding of Islam.

Drama Club Enjoy the Pantomime
On Friday 12th December, our drama club had a fantastic afternoon at Sandwell college. We had front-row seats to a pantomime of Alice in Wonderland, performed by the performing arts students studying there. It was funny, silly and made us laugh out loud! We were amazed at the costumes and very excited to be in a real theatre and loved getting involved in the audience participation parts of the show. We even got to have a photo with Alice at the end!

Year 5 STEM Robot Workshop!

Year 6 Visit to Haden Hill House
Class 12 had a fantastic time visiting Haden Hill House! The students fully immersed themselves in the experience, enjoying activities like role play, dressing up in historical costumes, and experiencing what it was like to be evacuated to the countryside. They even tried shopping with a ration book, giving them a real taste of life during the war. It was a memorable and educational day, and a wonderful time was had by all!
