Inspiring Assembly

Tipton Green Junior School joined a truly unforgettable live assembly broadcast from Antarctica featuring Robert Swan OBE, the first person in history to walk to both the North and South Poles, and Jenny Cooke, co-founder of the 2041 School charity. Streaming from just 600 miles from the South Pole, Rob shared incredible stories from the ice, spoke passionately about the importance of protecting our planet’s frozen continent, and inspired our pupils to become champions for Antarctica. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a historic event that will stay with both staff and pupils for a long time.
