School Council Leads Parliament Week Assembly
Today, our School Council led an assembly in celebration of UK Parliament Week. They explained that the role of the UK Parliament is to challenge the government and discuss issues that matter to people living across the country. We explored topics that are important to us and considered which of these might be discussed in Parliament. We also found out who our local MP is, so we know who to contact if there’s an issue we care about and want to make a difference.
