Ofsted Report
The Ofsted report has now been published, and we are proud to be able to share this with our families and local community. The inspection was completed under the new Education Inspection Framework 2025. As part of this framework, there is a new Report Card method for reporting to families. Year 6 SATs Update – A Fantastic Start!
We are incredibly proud of all of our Year 6 children after their first day of SATs. Our Young Violinists in Action
Some of our children have been learning to play the violin and have been fascinated by the new skills they are developing. They learned how to hold the violin correctly in rest position and mount position, and practised a piece called “Pepperoni Pizza,” which uses notes that go up in pitch. They worked hard to play in time and together, listening carefully to one another and showing excellent focus and teamwork.

ECO Ambassadors Launch Battery Recycling Bin!
In the ECO Ambassadors’ first meeting of the academic year, they discussed new ways we can recycle more and reduce waste in school. One idea the children were particularly enthusiastic about was introducing a battery recycling bin — and they went ahead and ordered one themselves! Now, any used batteries we have in school will be placed in the battery bin provided. Batteries should not go into general waste, as they are a fire hazard in bin lorries and at landfill sites.

Festive Fun at our Christmas Fayre
The Tipton Green Christmas Fayre with Silvertrees Academy was a truly fantastic event and one to remember! We had an amazing turnout and such a wonderful atmosphere — it was lovely to see our school community come together.
