Spring 2026 - Issue 12

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all parents and carers for the tremendous support shown during our recent Ofsted inspection, as well as for your continued support throughout the term. Our pupils were a real credit to both the school and their families. Inspectors were particularly impressed by the children’s respectful behaviour and their eagerness to talk confidently about their learning and experiences at school.

Year 3 and Year 6 pupils have thoroughly enjoyed their recent educational visits to Botanical Gardens and Cadbury World, where they were able to make valuable links to their learning in Science and History. These experiences greatly enrich the curriculum and bring learning to life.

We would also like to thank all parents and carers who attended parents’ evening this term. We hope you found the meetings useful and informative. If you were unable to attend but would still like to discuss your child’s progress, please do not hesitate to contact the school office to arrange an appointment.

Finally, thank you to the families who joined us for the Mother’s Day workshops. It was wonderful to welcome you into school, and we hope you enjoyed spending this special time with your children.

As we break up for the holidays, we will sadly be saying a fond farewell to Mrs Wise who begins her retirement today. We will always be grateful for all that she has done for the school and her dedication to Tipton Green families. Even though she will be missed, I know you will join me in wishing her all the best as she begins her new adventure!

I would also like to wish Mrs Walker all the best as she leaves us today to begin a new post in a different school.

As always, we are grateful for the strong partnership we share with our families and the positive impact this has on our pupils. Have a lovely break over the holidays and we look forward to seeing you in the Summer Term. Pupils return to school on Monday 13th April.

Happy Easter!

Attendance Matters

At our school, we know that every day of learning truly counts. Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in helping children achieve their full potential - both academically and socially. When pupils are in school consistently, they build strong learning habits, develop positive routines, and engage fully with lessons, friendships, and the wider school community.

Thank you for your continued support in helping all our children enjoy a successful and positive school experience.

Frank Chapman Residential Trip

Our Year 4 pupils had a wonderful time at the recent residential trip to Frank Chapman Centre, experiencing some amazing activities through their bravery and resilience when faced with each challenge. They even learnt to make their own beds! Find out even more from our residential trip page on the school website Residentials | Tipton Green

Watch this space over the next few weeks as we send out information for our residential trips for next academic year. They are such an amazing opportunity for children for pupils to experience time away building their confidence, fostering independence and developing teamship!

Not long now before Year 6 head off on their own residential. There are still places if you would still like your child to attend; please speak to Mrs Tromans.

Science Fair!

Well done to all those that entered our Science Fair last week! We were blown away by all the entries, particularly the time and effort that was put into each and every one. Congratulations to those who won - it was a hard decision to make!
