Summer 2026 - Issue 18

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of the summer term and another successful school year. What a fantastic year it has been, filled with memorable experiences, achievements and happy moments for our pupils, families and staff.

Throughout the year, our pupils have been a credit to themselves, their families and our school community. They have consistently demonstrated our values and embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, and I am incredibly proud of them all.

One of the highlights of the year was our Ofsted inspection in March. The outcome reflected the wonderful learning, dedicated staff and supportive families that make our school such a welcoming and successful place to learn and grow.

In recent weeks, our pupils have continued to enjoy exciting opportunities through Trust-wide events. Our football team performed brilliantly at the Trust World Cup, securing an impressive third-place finish. This was followed by a fantastic showing at the Trust Commonwealth Games event at Aldersley Stadium, where our athletes proudly brought home medals and experienced the thrill of competing on a professional running track.

There have been many other memorable events across the school, including the Year 5 visit to the National Space Centre, Roman Day celebrations, summer fêtes and much more. To see what our pupils have been up to, please visit the school's Recent News page: https://www.tiptongreenjuniorschool.co.uk/recent-news/.

Although we are looking forward to the summer holidays, we also have some fond farewells to say. At the end of term, Mrs Foster and Mrs Gill will be leaving us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them both for their dedication, hard work and contribution to our school community, and wish them every success and happiness for the future.

Despite the challenges of the hot weather this week, our pupils have once again shown remarkable resilience and determination. We were also treated to a fantastic Year 6 Leavers' Performance, which had us laughing from beginning to end. To our Year 6 pupils, thank you for the many wonderful memories. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you and watching you grow. We wish you every success and happiness as you begin your exciting journey to secondary school.

As one chapter closes, we are already looking forward to the next. The new school year will bring new pupils, new experiences, new adventures and, most importantly, new learning opportunities.

On behalf of everyone at Tipton Green Junior School, thank you for your continued support throughout the year. We wish all our families a safe, restful and enjoyable summer break, whether you are spending time away or making special memories at home.

Have a wonderful summer, and we look forward to welcoming you back in September.

School Uniform 2026 2027

Please ensure that all pupils are wearing the correct school uniform in September in line with our Uniform Policy which can be found on the school website. An overview can be found below. There have been some updates to our policy. If you have any queries regarding this, please contact the school.

Both Trust leaders and staff would like to stress how much importance we attach to the wearing of school uniform. Children feel proud and develop a sense of belonging to the school community when wearing the school uniform. Please ensure that all uniform is labelled with your child's name.
