Learning in Year 3

For our Science topic ‘Magnets and Forces’, Year 3 have been learning about friction and how it affects moving objects. We set up an investigation to find out how an object moves on different surfaces. We found out that smoother surfaces create less friction, allowing an object to travel further.

This term, Class 1 have been learning how to play the recorder! We have been practising finger placement to make different notes and we cannot wait to perform to the rest of Year 3 at the end of term! Class 2 are looking forward to their recorder lessons in Spring Term!
