Year 3 Geometry Detectives

Year 3 have been learning about right angles as part of their NCETM maths mastery journey. They began by exploring turns, before investigating what makes an angle a right angle.  They found out that there are 4 right angles in a full turn using their angle makers and angle checkers in small groups! They identified right angles within the classroom and have also applied their knowledge to show non-examples (an angle that is NOT a right angle) and have made these with their angle makers. 

 They have all worked brilliantly as geometry detectives!
