Hello Yellow 2026!
Today at Tipton Green, we celebrated Yellow Day to raise awareness of World Mental Health Day and the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing.
Our wonderful Wellbeing Ambassadors delivered class assemblies, helping children understand why it is important to talk about their feelings, share their worries and look after their emotional wellbeing. They reminded everyone that it is okay to feel worried, sad or anxious sometimes and that talking to someone we trust can help us feel better.
As part of our celebrations, the Wellbeing Ambassadors have launched an exciting Design Your Own Worry Monster Competition!
Children are invited to get creative and design their very own worry monster. The winning design from each class will be brought to life by our talented Wellbeing Ambassadors, who will make a worry monster for each classroom.

These special worry monsters will have an important job! Children will be able to write down their worries on a piece of paper and place them inside their class worry monster. This will provide a safe and comforting way for children to share anything that may be troubling them, allowing adults to offer reassurance and support.
We cannot wait to see all the imaginative and colourful worry monster designs!
Remember: A worry shared is a worry halved! 💛
