🌾 Year 4 Harvest Assembly 🌾
We were delighted to welcome such a fantastic turnout of parents and carers to support our Year 4 children during their Harvest Assembly. It was wonderful to see so many families joining us and celebrating the children’s hard work.
The children opened the assembly with ‘Because It’s Harvest Time’, immediately getting everyone into the harvest spirit. Throughout the performance, they sang a range of harvest favourites, including the classic ‘Autumn Leaves’ and ‘Cauliflowers Fluffy’, as well as a beautiful performance of ‘Seeds of Love’. The children sang confidently and enthusiastically, adding actions to the songs and performing brilliantly together on stage.
We were incredibly proud of how well the children had learnt their lines. They spoke with clear, loud voices and showed fantastic confidence in front of such a large audience.
During the assembly, the children explained the importance of Harvest and why we give thanks for the food we have and for the farmers who work hard to produce it. They explored the signs of autumn and shared the important message that, just as farmers sow seeds and later reap their harvest, the choices we make.
