Chocolate Chip Cookie Fun

This week at Cooking Club we baked delicious cookies using a simple homemade recipe. The children carefully measured the ingredients, mixed the dough, and shaped their own cookies before baking them.
The recipe included:
- 125g butter
- 100g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200g self-raising flour
- 100g chocolate chips
After mixing the butter and sugar, the children added the egg and vanilla, then stirred in the flour and chocolate chips. They rolled the dough into small balls, placed them on baking trays, and baked them until golden.
Everyone had lots of fun learning new cooking skills, and the best part was tasting the warm cookies at the end. The children were very proud of what they made and really enjoyed the activity!
