Girls' Football V Wood Green

Tipton Green started as the strongest team and a passage of nice passing allowed Tipton Green striker to finish into the bottom corner. Wood Green scoring out of nowhere seemed to affect Tipton Green’s confidence to bring it back level and then two world class strikes from Wood Green’s number 10 meant it was 3 – 1. Wood Green scored another to go 4 – 1 in front. However, a resurgence in confidence allowed Tipton Green back in the game – tough tackles, great saves and high energy in attack got Tipton Green on top to fire two goals in quick succession to bring it to 4 – 3. Unfortunately, Tipton Green could not find the equaliser and were unlucky to lose the game.
