Reading Week

Our reading ambassadors led an assembly at Silvertrees Infant School. Using the book Wombat Stew by Marcia K Vaughan and Pamela Lofts, they told the story about a very clever Dingo who had caught a wombat and decided to make a gooey, brewy, yummy, chewy wombat stew! However, when Wombat's friends decided to help, things went very wrong for Dingo. 

Our reading ambassadors worked hard to think of ideas to celebrate World Book Day, one of their ideas was to run a competition to design a wooden spoon as a character from a book. Look at some of our entries!


Throughout the week, children have also enjoyed visiting the Book Fair.
