Yew Tree V Tipton Green

A double header coming up with both boys and girls teams playing Yew Tree in the next few days. First up it was the boys who started very brightly and in control on the game. Our defence being solid and our captain keeping control of the middle allowed Tipton Green to be on top and hope the attackers could find a way past a tough Yew Tree defence. The game was 0-0 at half time with the second half starting and Tipton Green being in control again. Tipton Green went 1-0 up with a superb free kick from our captain to put us in front. Yew Tree hit back with a few bright attacks leading to a fantastic camera save from our keeper to keep us in the lead along with some great tackling and clearances from our defence. Tipton Green began to press for a second with us being caught out by a goal from Yew Tree in the last minute to make the game close to a 1-1 draw.  Fantastic to see both sets of players play with smiles on their faces.
