Autumn 2025 - Issue 4
Dear Parents, Carers and Families,
As we wrap up a fantastic half term, we’re thrilled to share some of the exciting adventures and achievements our pupils have enjoyed this term!
Our Year 3 pupils had an unforgettable trip to Tanglewood, where they embraced the great outdoors and took part in thrilling activities including archery. With bows drawn and targets in sight, they showed incredible focus, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the day. It was a wonderful opportunity to build confidence and enjoy nature together.
Meanwhile, Year 4 ventured to Hockerhill Farm for a deliciously hands-on experience as part of their Design and Technology curriculum. The children explored the art of pizza-making—from kneading dough to choosing toppings—and learned about food preparation and healthy eating in a fun, interactive setting. The results were as tasty as they were educational!
Over the half term holiday, Miss Hayden will be celebrating her wedding, returning to school as Mrs Hazelwood! On behalf of all our families, staff and pupils, we wish her and her soon-to- be husband all the best for their big day. Congratulations Mrs Hazelwood!
Thank you to all our staff, pupils, and families for making this half term so successful. We hope you have a restful and joyful break filled with laughter, relaxation, and maybe a few slices of homemade pizza!
See you after the holidays, refreshed and ready for more learning adventures!
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Richards
