Tipton Green V Wood Green

The game started at a fast pace with both teams trying to figure each other out. Wood Green went 2 goals in front. Tipton Green did not lose their heads and stayed calm to show resilience and togetherness to strike back 2-2. Towards the end of the first half, the game was even until Wood Green scored to make it 2-3. Straight away Tipton Green fired back to make it 3-3. Tipton Green’s keeper making 3 point blank saves and some excellent blocks from our defence kept us in the game at half time. Second half began with Wood Green straight out the blocks and putting Tipton Green under pressure giving them a 5-3 advantage. However, impressive team work and our captain leading by example to get us back in the game. Our lightning fast attackers getting us back in the game with some unbelievable finishes, with the final whistle going with the score Tipton Green 6 Wood Green 8. Both sets of players were a credit to their school.
