Year 5 spent two days visiting Carding Mill Valley in Shropshire as part of their geography work on 'Raging Rivers'. The children all participated in three activities during their day: a guided walk, a river study and river dipping.

Everyone had a great time, taking in the beautiful scenery and looking at insects under a microscope in the field lab. It was wonderful to hear the children labelling the parts of the river from their learning in the classroom whilst walking with the National Trust volunteers.
