Summer 2025 - Issue 17
Dear Families,
As the academic year draws to a close, we're filled with pride and joy reflecting on all that our pupils have achieved. From learning milestones to memorable experiences, it's been a truly fantastic year!

We want to extend a thank you to all the parents who supported and contributed to the Year 6 Summer Fayre whether that was through donations, sending in money or joining us on the day. A huge well done to Year 6, who took charge and organised the fayre from start to finish. Their creativity, teamwork, and leadership shone brightly and brought smiles to everyone who attended. From planning stalls to managing the day with maturity and fun, they’ve truly ended their primary journey on a high note! They raised a huge total of £1131.49 - what an achievement! This will money will go towards funding their celebration fun day.

We’re delighted to share that school reports were sent home today. These celebrate the progress and hard work of every child throughout the year. Parents are invited to an informal parents' evening on Monday 14th July from 3:15 to 5:00pm. It’s a great chance to speak with teachers, ask any questions, and join us in applauding the children’s accomplishments.
This week, our Year 4 pupils took part in a wonderful trip to the local Gurdwara. It was a heart-warming experience where children not only explored the Sikh place of worship, but also shared food and reflected on what they’ve learned in Religious Education. We’re so proud of how respectfully and thoughtfully they engaged with the visit.
Just a reminder that we finish at 3:15pm on the last day of term. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved summer break filled with rest, laughter, and new adventures.
Thank you to all parents, carers, and staff for your ongoing support. Have a safe and sunny summer holiday!

Year 6 Leavers Performance
As we begin our final week of the term, we will be preparing to say a final farewell to our Year 6 pupils. Over the last weeks, they have been hard at work practicing their Leavers Performance showcasing all their amazing talents, from singing and dancing to acting.
On Monday afternoon, pupils in school will be getting a sneak preview! Good luck Year 6 - we can't wait to see your play.
Cultural Day
On Monday 14th July, we will be celebrating the diversity in our school through our Cultural Day. This wonderful idea was first proposed by a group of Year 6 pupils who wanted to make sure they everyone in school appreciated each others differences. Their excellent presentation included the idea of inviting all our pupils to wear clothes which celebrate who they are on this day. During the morning, pupils will also be taking part in a range of different activities which focus on the Arts in cultures from around the world.
Please follow this link https://www.tgjs.org.uk/letters-home to find the letter which gives further details of this event which was sent out earlier this term.
Boys Football Team
Our boys football team played a friendly match against Summerhill Primary School this week. They played with determination and teamwork drawing 1-1.
A brilliant way to end the year boys! Well done.
Talented Tipton!
The whole school received a treat yesterday when the Choir and our musicians showed off their hard work in a music assembly. The Choir performed beautifully singing songs that brought a smile to our faces and a tear to our eyes.
Pupils who began learning to play the clarinet this year, demonstrated their skills playing several songs. We were even wowed by solo performances! Everyone was in awe of their bravery - well done to all involved!
