Autumn 2025 - Issue 3

Dear Parents, Carers and Families,

Thank you so much to everyone who attended our Timetable Parent Workshop this week! It was wonderful to see so many people attending, and we hope you found the session helpful in understanding how we support your children’s learning in this area. If you were unable to attend, please visit the school website to see the Powerpoint that was shared using the following link. https://www.tgjs.org.uk/post/times-tables-fun-with-families

A huge well done to our incredible Well Being Ambassadors who led a thoughtful and inspiring assembly in recognition of Mental Health Day. Their messages were powerful and beautifully delivered.

Today, the school was a sea of sunshine as pupils and staff wore yellow to raise awareness for mental health. Everyone looked fantastic, and it was heartwarming to see our community come together to support such an important cause.

Looking ahead, Parents Evening is just around the corner! A letter will be sent out next week with details on how to book your appointments via Arbor. We look forward to seeing you and sharing your child’s progress.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in school life.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Richards

Thank you for all your contributions to our Harvest collection last week. Our School Councillors were thrilled and proud to be able to hand over so many goods to the Black Country Food Bank.

Well done to Year 4 as well, who performed in a fantastic assembly to parents, reminding us all about the importance of Harvest. Their acting, singing and narration wowed us all. Thank you Year 4.

Sporting News

A fantastic result was achieved at the second football match of the season - Tipton Green won 6-1 against Holyhead Primary! Well done team.

Sports Festival

ree

This week, pupils were chosen in school to attend a Sports Event at Portway Lifestyle Centre where they took part in a range of events from table tennis to curling! Throughout the day, they demonstrated excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect towards other pupils, school staff, and sports coaches - a real credit to our school.

Planting at Q3

Some of our younger pupils were invited to visit Q3 this week to take part in some gardening activities. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves, bringing home a planted blub to grow and nurture. Thank you Q3 pupils for looking after our pupils so well!

Secret Garden Development

This week, our Well Being Ambassadors began work on our Secret Garden Project in school, alongside other pupils. They worked hard, digging and scraping a new path ready to become our sensory walk! We are very excited about this project which we will be working on over the next few weeks. With the help of our Well Being Ambassadors last year, we have designed a space where pupils can go to take part in a range of learning activities as well as improve well being and mental health. Watch this space to see our progress!

Parking Safety around school

As always, the safety of our pupils, families and the local residents is our top priority. Please help us to do this by parking safely as well as following the rules of the road. We are aware that parking during morning drop off and afternoon pick up can be difficult on the street, however can I also ask that you are mindful of neighbours in the street by not blocking driveways.

Thank you for your support.

Winter Coat Bank

Sandwell council are running a Coat Bank this October and November to support families in need. Please see the flyer below for more information.
