Drama Club Enjoy the Pantomime
On Friday 12th December, our drama club had a fantastic afternoon at Sandwell college. We had front-row seats to a pantomime of Alice in Wonderland, performed by the performing arts students studying there. It was funny, silly and made us laugh out loud! We were amazed at the costumes and very excited to be in a real theatre and loved getting involved in the audience participation parts of the show. We even got to have a photo with Alice at the end!

Digital Art!
In School Council's Autumn school survey on technology, pupils expressed an interest in using computers to create art. As a result of this, this week in Year 3, we looked at a character description of the Grinch and had a go at using an online platform called Tate Paint to create a piece of digital art. We enjoyed experimenting with the different brushes and textures available to use and adding the features mentioned in the character description, like the fence that the sneak

Cooking Club Creates Christmas Chocolate!
As the hot chocolate toppers were so popular last week, Cooking Club used a similar method to make their very own Christmas chocolate bar. First, we melted milk chocolate and layered it into the shape of a Christmas tree. Next, we melted white chocolate to create the tinsel decoration. Then we added sprinkles and Smarties to make colourful baubles, and finally topped our Christmas tree chocolate bar with a chocolate star. It looked wonderfully festive — and tasted even better
